How to make custom mugs
1
Pick a product
Choose a white or black 11 oz ceramic mug, or another cup from the catalog. Color and size are part of the product. The print area you see is the one we can actually print.
2
Add your picture or words
Put a wrap: photo, name, or both on the print area in the browser. Upload a photo you have the rights to, or set type in the studio. If a photo would print under about 150 DPI, the designer says so before you pay.
3
A person checks it
A person at Fetch Now looks at the art before it prints. We aim to review within one business day. If we cannot print it, we say so before the item is made.
4
We print and ship
Printify prints the approved file and a carrier delivers it. We don't promise a particular day. You'll get email as the order moves.

Occasions and ideas
Birthday
A name and an age on a quiet background. Keep the words near the middle of the wrap so they are not the bit that meets at the handle.
Mother's Day and Father's Day
A family photo you took, or a line only your parent would recognize. A line you wrote is fine. A trademarked slogan is not.
Office desk
One mug is enough. There is no box-of-twelve minimum. A job title you are allowed to use is fine. Your employer's logo needs permission.
Pets
Crop the animal so the face is large. A mug is curved and the print is short. A full-body photo from across the yard becomes a speck.
New home
An address or a street name you have the right to print, in large type. Pair it with a tea towel from the home catalog if you want a set.
The 11 oz wrap, in plain language
The simple mug is ceramic, 11 ounces, white or black. White is $17.99. Black is $19.99. Those are the prices. Other mugs, tumblers, and bottles in the drinkware catalog show their own numbers in the designer before checkout.
The print is a wrap: a wide, short image that goes around the mug and meets near the handle. The studio canvas matches that shape. If you drop a square photo in unchanged, you will get a small square on a wide mug, or a stretched mess if you force it. Build the wrap. Put the important face and the name in the center. The left and right edges are where the print meets, and a face split by that seam looks like a mistake.
Mugs are fired after we approve the art. They are not made while you wait on the site. We do not promise a day. Printify and the carrier do. You get email when the status changes.
Photos that work on a curve
A mug print is smaller than a shirt print and it bends. Fine paragraphs and pale gray details wash out. Use large type, a simple photo, and a background that is actually quiet. White mugs take darker art. Black mugs need lighter art or the picture sinks into the glaze.
The designer warns under about 150 DPI. A mug wrap is not huge compared with a poster, but a blurry crop is still blurry. Export from the original photo, not from a picture of a photo on another screen. Only upload images you have the right to print. A still from a show, a cartoon you did not draw, a sports logo: refused.
Text inside the image matters too. We read it. Hate and personal attacks are not a clever mug. The terms allow us to refuse an order for those reasons, and the card is released if nothing has been made.
A person checks the mug
Stripe authorizes the card at checkout. Fetch Now does not capture it until a person has approved the wrap. That is the whole shop, not a mug exception. We aim to review within one business day. If we need a revision, you edit and the hold stays.
The person is not there to redesign the gift. Spelling you typed is spelling you ordered. Look at the preview. A name missing a letter is not a damaged mug when it arrives that way. A smear in the print, a crack, or a black mug when you ordered white is a defect.
Automated checks may look for logos and unsafe content first. A person still decides. If the automated check is down, the order waits for the person instead of skipping the line.
Shipping, chips, and the guarantee
We don't promise a delivery date. After approval, Printify makes the item and hands it to a carrier. The shipping you see is the partner's standard rate for the United States or Canada.
Custom goods are not returnable just because you changed your mind or the wording isn't what you pictured. If the print is damaged, or the wrong item arrives, email support@fetchnow.net within 30 days of delivery with a photo and we will reprint or refund. That is the same promise on the terms page.
A chip, a crooked wrap, or the wrong color is the photo we need in that email. A mug you decided you do not like after coffee is a custom good you ordered. Treat the print gently if you want it to last: avoid harsh scouring on the image. That is care, not a second warranty.
Other cups, if a mug is not the gift
Tumblers, bottles, and glasses live in drinkware next to mugs. They have their own print areas. A wrap you built for the 11 oz mug will not drop onto a tall tumbler without a redesign. Start from that product's studio. See prices in the designer. The white mug's $17.99 is not the price of a steel bottle.
If the gift is really a set, design the mug here and the shirt on the custom t-shirt page. Two products, two reviews, two print files. There is still no minimum. One mug is a complete order.
